CHPA supports a diverse and inclusive leadership body. The Leadership Development Task Force (LDTF) recruits professionals year-round that may be interested in leadership positions for the Association. Complete this form if you wish to be considered by the LDTF for opportunities to serve as a CHPA leader.
Nominations for the Industry Impact Award may be submitted via this year-round form. If the nomination is approved by CHPA's Board of Directors, it will be added to a running pool of nominees for consideration in the next awards cycle. Nominators will be notified on the status of their nomination.
This award recognizes a professional in the Corporate Housing and Serviced Accommodation industry for their long-term history of exemplary service and accomplishments to the corporate housing industry. Any CHPA member company employee or retired individual who has formerly been employed with a current CHPA member company in good standing with a minimum of ten years’ industry experience may be considered.
Before submitting, prepare to answer the following questions and review the criteria to support your nomination.
How has this individual remarkably impacted the corporate housing and serviced accommodation industry? How is their impact so influential that the industry would not be what it is today without this person in it?
A nomination may address the following criteria to support the prompt above:
- A description of the individual’s philanthropic or community service engagement.
- Identify the beneficiaries of the individual’s contribution(s) to the industry and explain the long-term effect achieved.
- Summary of the individual’s contributions to the industry, including any moment of outstanding service and/or out of the box action (risk and/or creativity) to achieve results.
- List of companies that the nominee has been employed at, and positions within each company.

Individual/Team Awards
- Individual of the Year: This award is given to one member-company employee and is based on their ability to exceed guest expectations, their involvement with CHPA and other associations, their strength in developing relationships across the industry, developing solutions to problems, and their engagement in community service or philanthropic programs. This person is recognized for their ability to help their company achieve success in the last year.
- Distinguished Service Award (formerly Volunteer of the Year): This award is given to one member-company employee who has served as an active volunteer throughout the year. This individual has helped to move association projects forward and develop strong resources for fellow members. They step up and offer additional assistance and follow through on their commitments.
- Advancing Excellence: This award highlights the vital importance of our frontline staff employees and the teams they support. We know it takes a team to build success and our teams of housekeepers, operations, reservations, customer service and more make it happen.
- Emerging Leader of the Year: This award recognizes an emerging leader who is in the first five years of their career within the corporate housing and serviced accommodation industry whose record reflects ongoing and exceptional growth in contribution to the profession and increased levels of leadership, responsibility, and sphere of impact.
Please complete this form to propose a program. Proposals should be received at least 8 weeks prior to the presentation date to provide enough time for the marketing of the program. Company Awards
- Community Impact: This award is given to one company and recognizes the success of community service or philanthropic programs that effectively reach the community the program is meant to serve.
- Sustainable Business: This award is given to one company and recognizes its comprehensive, sustainable program/approach to reducing negative environmental impacts. It focuses on actions that have been taken within the last year to advance the business's sustainable mindset.
- Company of the Year (Associate Partner): This award is given to one associate partner and recognizes the company for overarching and well-rounded success throughout the year.
- Company of the Year (Provider/Agency): This award is given to one provider/agency per revenue tier and recognizes the company for overarching and well-rounded success throughout the year. Please note an applicant company must hold the CHPA Company Accreditation designation. This applies to companies of all revenue tiers.
- Innovation of the Year: This award may be given to one provider/agency and one associate partner company and recognizes a company that has made significant progress in innovative advancements related to the industry. This can include new products, technology, process improvements, software etc. that solve current industry challenges.
